The intel keeps pouring in...

You guys are stepping up with some cold hard facts for us on a day when you should be glued to the television hating on The New England Patriots. We got a tip that Russo's Grill in Amsterdam was planning on taking over the Brindisi's location on Broadway. That fact has now been confirmed by some dude whose sister lives next door to the Russo's. It's true, that's who our source is. We are not too familiar with Russo's so we did a little Google search and came up with a Facebook page that's barely been updated as well as a couple of shitty tripadvisor and yahoo reviews. So yeah, not so sure what to make of all that. Either way, the Brindisi's space is getting filled.

  1. I said she lived next door to them. I never said anything about the food being good, As a matter of fact I probably will never eat there. And also this is the Russo family. Not going to be the same place. Siblings owning 2 different places with the same name....

  4. 2 things...Russo's from Amsterdam ISN't coming...that's a fact. As for my comment that downtown "needs" Russo's....I should have said I needed Russo's. Great food, drink and reasonably priced...and probably shouldn't be located on Broadway..the folks from Wheatfields might of stumbled in by mistake. Sorry..me bad

  5. very impressive you listed this 5 days before it hit the front page of the Saratogian. But they are saying it isnt going to be the same as the one in Amsterdam (meaning they will serve same food, but want Broadway Saratoga prices, not Amsterdam prices). Doesnt the Saratogian have an opening for a business reporter?
